



Deirdre (violin) began playing the violin at the age of 4 and over the years has participated in many concerts, masterclasses and competitions including prizes at Feis Ceoil Dublin and winner of the Ita Beausang cup in the DIT conservatory of music competitions. Deirdre has performed with the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, the National Symphony orchestra of Ireland. Deirdre was nominated to represent DIT in the Irish Freemasons Young Musician of the year 2010 and also in 2011. She was chosen to take part in the RTE National Symphony Orchestra mentoring scheme in 2010 and 2011. Deirdre completed the Bachelor of Music Degree course with Brian Mc Namara at DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama in 2011 receiving first class honours. She was also awarded the Michael Mc Namara medal for achieving the highest mark in performance. Deirdre is currently a teacher in Leeson Park School of Music and is studying for MA in music performance at The Royal Irish Academy of Music with teacher Fionualla Hunt.
Anna (soprano) graduated from the Royal Irish Academy of Music in 2011 with a First Class Honours Degree in Music Performance. She has recently commenced a Masters degree at DIT Dublin, studying with Sinead Campbell Wallace and Aoife O Sullivan. Anna is a former Young Associate Artist with Opera Theatre Company for the year 2012. Anna has Distinction in piano and singing Grade 8 with the Associated Board and teaches both piano and singing privately and at St Columba's College.
